im sorry but like all this s*** is just like so f***ed i love history and want to you know like teach it but no… you want me to be a f***ing doctor so you could parade me around your friends to make up for your past mistakes like im some goddam prized pony and then when i get to that age when it no longer matters youll metaphorically shoot me for being too old and that hurts i don't know what you want from me you told me to follow my dreams…

very frankly! Teaching is not a high paying job unless you are some Harvard or MIT master professor! so expect at most around 40-50k per year at some spoiled brat high school. Maybe a little more at some college. But remember, teaching is a socially dictated role and now days you have to take special classes just to teach (outside your major), plus stupid back ground checks to make sure you don’t or haven’t fondle Little girl tits, cracks, or cohered them into a bj. Even if accused your carere will be over heartbeat!LOL. All it takes is a rumor and Gee!!!!! this world seems to be an esculating vortex of rumors and accusations these days!
But education ????? Its about YOU not what others want from you.
ITS YOUR LIFE, YOUR CHOICE and you will Excel in the Major you have a passion in, and will do poorly in those classes that do not interest you. So if you dont give a rats ass about fixing people aka “Doctoring” or “Lawyering” then expect C,D & F grades unless you are some brain.
But Mind you…. History is a large topic and there are several libraries of congress that only skimm the surface of history as there are so many areas of history. Want to study Nigger History, Religious history, Political History, Egyptian, War (which war) etc….
Usually, we have several passions (not just sex lol) and you might want to consider those as well before making a life decision of career.
Still, screw anyone who tries to dictate your Major or life decisons…..you know what you want to do and be. Just dont think any field is ever going to win you the Noble Peace prize and write you into the history books as to etch you name in some historical eternity for your contributions to the world.
After High school, I took some stupid college test (at the local collage and career center) and the career professional tried to tell me that I scored highest in the field of Nursing.. BS!
Like you I could have cared less about Nursing or medical.
My passion was Computers. The Demographic area where I lived was full of the WE NEED NURSES ads and being a small town, no IT demand. So even the Career counselors were being paid to promote nursing. AKA they were being greased by the local political con artist.
I was a C and D student in high school but graduated with a 3.0 in collage as I went with my passions Computers and IT. Nursing, I doubt I would even have got in the door to the first class.
