My roommate is one of the coolest people I know…but I get tried of hearing about her boy problems. She is constantly taking about these two boy crushes that she has. She'll tell me that she thinks one boy is giving her signs that he likes her but then she'll say she likes the other boy more. She then goes on about how she doesn't want to make a move with the boy she likes most until he makes a move. She has been talking about these crushes for a whole semester.I think she should shoot her shot but she insists its weird if she does. She also talks about how she avoids these other two dudes who she knows has a crush on her. Instead of telling them straight up that shes not interested she gives them vague texts and in my opinion mixed signals. I keep telling her that she should tell them that she doesn't like them but she says she doesn't want to be mean. In my opinion its even meaner to lead them on. She talks about all 4 of these guys constantly and its boring me to tears. I'm trying not to get annoyed by it but she constantly talks about these guys and I honestly at this point don't care about it. I gave her advice about the issues countless times and listened to her but I kinda just smile and say yeah when it comes up now.I want to support her but good gosh I just want her boy crush to ask her out so she'll hopefully stop talking about all these boys.

Those two dudes she’s texting that she doesn’t like? Tbh I’d just take her phone and do it for her in a nice way. Sure, yeah, it’s a s***ty thing to do, but it’ll make things better in the future, for sure. If she doesn’t have a crush on them, there’s no real point in leading them on romantically. Yeah, they can be friends, but when they’re at the romantic/flirty level, it drags on and on, especially if she doesn’t like them. Try to just get her to be straightforward. Ik you said she doesn’t want to, but honestly I think that’s the only way out of this loop.
Probably don’t follow my advice, tho. I’ve never really been in a situation like that.
