I’ve done on the dieting rollercoaster for years. Though I’m not obese ive never been happy with my body. After watching the documentery Hunger for Change I’ve been given a new perspective on my dieting and I am ready to start over.

For years I have condemned smokers for their addictions and now realize that I am an addict as well. Learning the effect that sugar, sugar substitutes, and caffeine has on the brain and the way in which mainstream marketing is using their influence to draw us toward these products with the promise that they are “healthy” is eye opening.

Today will be the first day In many years that I do not step on my scale, that I do not have my coffee with sweetner, that I do not have toast for breakfast. Breaking the addiction I didn’t know I had or truely believed even existed will not be easy but I’m taking control of my life and getting off the diet rollercoaster.
