Posted by Anonymous on 2012/10/15 under Friends Typical love romance movie right? I like him but he doesn’t like me back. Every one can relate to this story and every one has seen it in the movies. It’s like a stereotypical teenage romance. But this one isn’t. I pinky swear. He’s the most amazing guy i’ve ever met and no, i’m not the girl who says i love you just to say it. I’m dead serious. We’re really good friends and recently went on a school retreat. Thursday night we had worship and at the end he gave everyone time to pray alone or get a friend or a group and pray. He pulled me and the rest of the grade aside and we all prayed. Every.Single.One of us. Granted i only have 27 kids in my grade but thats not the point! It was powerful. This boy prayed twice. I cried both times. He speaks so well and so effectively. I couldn’t believe it. His faith is the most attractive thing about him and i love it. We all held hands while we prayed too (i got to hold his). It just makes me want to spend all my time with him. He makes me happy. Not to be all sappy but i’m not happy that often. I feel free. I don’t worry about ANYTHING because i care about him and i feel happy. After we prayed, i prayed for the girls in my grade and then i went and hugged multiple other people. Every time i hugged someone, i broke down and cried. Dead serious. I bawled. They gave us time to calm down and we went back to throwing the frisbee outside. He gave me a hug and i literally soaked his shirt. But i wasn’t embarrassed, because he absolutely loves God and i just embraced his hug. I bawled. He really is a keeper. I have 4 years with this boy and i plan to make them worth it. No body, i swear, has made me want to grow stronger in my entire life. I want to spend all my time with him. He’s a leader and a best friend, and i love him whether he likes me back or not. He impacted my life and i intend to someday impact his.
