I was told one day that I had a choice. My best friend, or a place to live. I was going through some hard things when I was told this by my mother, so I was even more upset. The worst part about it was that I had to call my friend to tell her I can’t see her anymore. We have been friends for 10 years! The only one who gets me and the only one who can handle my mood swings. She has been there for me through everything. I wish that my parents couldn’t dangle things over me like this. Unfortunately, times are hard, and the economy is crap. The only conditions of which I can be friends with her again, is if I move out and pay for my own car. It’s just bugging me….
