Hi. I am ten, eleven in 4 days, year old girl and I am having a little problem with my friends, but they don’t know it. So, at the beginning of the school year, this new girl named Lydia was in my class. She was quiet, shy, and seemed pretty nice. Anyways, my BFF since I was 4 or 5 and I asked her if she wanted to hang out with us. It turns out, she was a great friend and now we are always together. But, my BFF and I are also friends with this girl named Emma. It seems like this school year, my BFF has been leaving Emma out of things and I feel bad for her. She doesn’t even play with Abbey (BFF), Lydia, and I. And, today, I was playing four-square with a bunch of other friends, Abbey, Lydia, and Emma. When Lydia got to the top position, she switched the rules a little. When she was supposed to be out, she said it was on the “line”, but it wasn’t. It happened again. After a vote from those of the people standing in line, Lydia got out. When the recess bell rang, I got to the line up spot first. Lydia was standing in the wrong spot, but she and I were both first in line in two different lines. So then I said, Lydia, I was here first. So then she cut the second person in line, but then (surprisingly), my BFF told her that she was supposed to be behind her (behind the BFF). Then, Lydia didn’t say a word to me and she didn’t even look at me as we were walking back to our class. After school, Abbey and Lydia usually sort of leave me out of things by walking out in front of me and talking. I think Lydia is a really nice person, but she is ruining my friendships and I think I may have to end it soon. My BFF isn’t who I thought she was. I kinda wish I didn’t invite Lydia to my birthday party. What should I do?????
