The other morning I watched how perfectly your mouth parted just when you started to fall asleep. I could feel your arms relax their hold around my shoulders. I didn’t sleep because I wanted to cherish each extra second I had with you. You terrify me. You have such a hold over my little heart and every time you pull away you take my heart with you. Please don’t squeeze too tight. You have gotten hold of the heart I didn’t know I had. Tonight I wanted to lay outside with you and contemplate why we live in square houses on a giant sphere. There’s no one I’d rather see happy than you. Please let someone love you as much as possible.
