I caught my boyfriend in a compromising position last month. I confronted him about it, and he lied to my face. I know he lied because I physically saw the thing in question that he said did not occur. I watched it happen. After I called him out on the lie, he backpedaled and came up with an innocent explanation. Now he is upset with me because I don’t believe him. Go figure. I can’t prove that he was unfaithful, so I should give him the benefit of the doubt, right? I just can’t get past the lying about it–if you’ve done nothing wrong, there is no need to lie.
