I have watched love fade with distance created, care not given, attention stolen…. And I thought that if I played the opposite of the above, love would stay, love would grow, love would not go…. But then out of the blue she started giving the distance, she stopped caring, she payed no more attention …. And that hurt for a while …. Then … Out of love … I let her go … I moved on
I understand. The strange thing about love is that it is not about effort. Even though one makes a big effort, it certainly doesn’t mean one will get more love in return. It’s the cruel truth of love.
