Love Work Family Friends Games Kids Life

I just hate how women have to do certain things. I know some women don’t do these but most do things like shave anywhere. I personally am a tomboy and love mud, any kind of animal, and the color blue. I don’t shave and all my friends do and tell me I should. Like I was thinking about summer because its just around the corner couldn’t I wear swim trunks instead of practically underwear. I also hate how there are unwritten rules of being female like shaving, liking guys, and many others. Just think of how many commercials you have seen with women in bikinis. And think about it this way about cheerleaders (just some cheerleaders not all). They are in short skirts and tank tops. I was also thinking what does it mean to “play like a girl”. I think it means to work with determination and persistence. While other people use it as a insult. I just wanted to share this idea with someone even if it’s the internet.

I find it quite comforting how much I relate to many of you out there. The things I thought was only me, happens to everyone. It’s nice for a change.
I understand what you’re saying though, I was also a tomboy.I hated pink, didn’t enjoy dressing up, didn’t really like boys etc.
I guess you never really get to overcome it, I sometimes feel I have. But my inner tomboy will always still be there. I mean, I wear sequins and sparkles, gossip about boys things like that. But I never really feel comfortable about it.That’s just my life these days…
