My 12 step sponsor, a person who I trusted with all my secrets, a person who is supposed to help me through a difficult transition period of my life, screwed me over.
All because some guy appeared to like me better. A guy rejected her asks me to the movies and she starts backstabbing me. “People talk” she says to justify this betrayl.
Then when looking for a new sponsor, (“I can’t carry you, my old one says) she tells the person that I’m thinking of asking not to do it. One minute I can talk to this new persona about anything, the next they suddenly don’t want people gossiping.
This sucks.
