I’m A thirteen year old girl and I found out that my mom cheated on my dad, so does that give my dad the right to hit her continuously? Because even though she cheated, I think it’s really wrong
No matter what a woman does. No matter how many times she cheats, no matter what she does to upset him, NOTHING makes it okay for him to hit his wife. Husbands are supposed to love and protect their wives, not hit them. What would happen if he hit someone else in public? He’d likely get the police on him wouldn’t he? Hitting your spouse is domestic abuse, which is, I’m pretty sure, illegal. You’re right to think it’s wrong, because it is.
Again I agree with Amber. She was in the wrong for cheating. He is in the wrong for even raising his hand against her. Please contact the police. I hope your safe.

She may have been in the wrong for cheating, but he’s just as in the wrong, if not more, for hitting her. Such a situation should not be handled in such a manner. Hopefully they can see counseling for their marriage. Until then, I wish you utmost safety in this situation.
