Posted by Anonymous on 2014/07/05 under Uncategorized There’s this guy. He likes me and we’ve messed around a couple of times…but I don’t want a committed relationship. I would rather us be just friends but it seems like he’s not okay with that. He says he has feelings for me but he still messes around with other girls. The fact that he’s messing around doesn’t really bother me because I see our relationship as a friendship. However, I become confused when he starts talking about how he really likes me and wants to take me out on a date. I don’t think he’s looking for a committed relationship with me and even if he was that’s something I’m not willing to fall into (he’s not really ‘boyfriend’ material). So, here’s the conclusion I’ve come to: when it comes to our relationship it can either be we are just friends or we’re friends with benefits. But, I feel as if we are already so close that if we decided to be friends with benefits then I would break the one rule of that kind of relationship and catch feelings. So since I’m not ready to be with someone who I have genuine feelings for I think it’s best that we just stay friends. I really hope he can agree with me on this and respect my decision.
