Why do people have such a bad picture of people in foster care?? Please someone respond, the amount of comments and looks I get when people know im in care is unbelievable, and horrible. we don’t all have criminal records, we don’t all do drugs or drink, we are not all violent, some people actually have gone to school and graduated and have jobs.
I’ve never been in touch with anyone who has lived in foster care. I wish I did so I could have a better idea of how life is for them and whether it is any different from others.
I guess people just assume what the media portrays to them. It’s human nature.
Maybe you can change that 🙂
