Sometimes I wish you could be less sweet to me. If you keep on being so kind to me I might not be able to completely delete all my inappropriate sentiments for you. It took me years to slowly wash away those unrequited, ill-fated sentiments. It took a great deal of effort and rational reasoning to stay sane. Whenever you are sweet to me, I can’t help feeling heart-warmed and secretly happy. But realities do not allow the return of sentiments. Those useless sentiments will only be harmful to everyone. I always try to remember the moments you are not sweet, even slightly mean, so I can stop being indulgent. Sentiments have no place in this giant machine of a cold cold world. So please do not be too sweet to me. Now, take a deep breath, and go back to normal usual life.
