Posted by Anonymous on 2013/07/14 under Games Okay, so i want to go to a place called minecon for minecraft players and its only a couple hours away (1 or 2) but the price to get in now is 100$ but im asking now cause if i wait it could end up being 130$ and they are making me so mad cause i’ve wanted to go for so long and now that its close to me it wont cost more than 200$. but they still say no only because we may not have the money, i could understand that if they were’nt telling me to get out of the house more, go meet more people, try to make some friends off of the computer! but what they dont understand is i dont want too! its always been easier to talk to people through the internet!!! if they understood even one part of me they would know that and this just makes me so mad that they dont even know me well enough to see that almost my entire life is on the computer! and if they can accept that then im NOT their daughter!!!!! if they accept me as i am then they dony love me at all!!!!!!!!!!!! *sigh* i guess im just mad that my parents dont know much about me at all. i just need someone who can understand this cause if i try to talk to thema about this then i will freeze and not say anything at all like i have my whole life… if some one could reply some way to help i would appreciate it.

Wow… I REALLY want BOTH OF US to go to Minecon. AND I’M NOT EVEN IN THE U.K! I agree with you, sometimes I just CAN’T STAND IT!!! What I do when it happens, is listen to a one-man band called Owl City. It is WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!
To some extent I understand you. Me wanting to go raving, concerts, etc… I don’t have the money to go of course because being a young adult that I am can’t do whatever she wants. Somehow it seems like you are running away from life since you are always into your computer. Having friends on the internet isn’t so bad but you still need friends to go out with and have fun. Well, I’m not gonna blab about you saying that you have to do this and that because I’m not yo ma. Plus I’m a total stranger to you. You can make life choices and that’s good but don’t do somethings stupid that you’d regret. I’m 19 and when I was your age, doing stupid things was my motto… Don’t do stupid things! Please make some friends that aren’t on the internet. Don’t run away from things kid because it will haunt you. That’s all so bye!
