Posted by Anonymous on 2013/02/19 under Friends Isn’t it funny how you can get so close to somebody and then one of you moves away and suddenly all contact is lost. I confided in my ‘best friend’, and thought that he would be a permanent part of my life. Never mind. It’s sad though isn’t it? How people just come and go all the time. Just shows that life IS for travelling and that people do come and go, it’s just about taking the good of those experiences away from it and making the memories valuable and progressing onto bigger and potentially better things. I don’t know, just, enjoy people when you have company with them, and enjoy people who you have only recently met, enjoy new friendships, and enjoy the end of a friendship, as you can then progress through life and invite more people on your journey. Never feel stuck with the same people through your life, you can pick and choose as many people as you like. Just be there for them and when the time comes that your ship must depart, do so gracefully knowing that you have satisfied that friendship and that nothing more can come from it any longer. There are some people who do stay a part of your life for a long time, but if circumstances change then it is always hard to fulfil everyones needs to see you and time must go on for you to go your own ways.
