Somewhere To Write

I wasn’t sure, what venting out here will do for me. Well i guess i will try.
There are just too many models out there and by models i don’t mean beautiful men/women posing in overpriced dresses and what not. i am referring to the models that we are being cast in everyday of our life.
Even when you don’t notice it, we ourselves have some role models we wan’t to follow Don’t we.
Then there is religion , ethnicity, sex all these and much more influence us in so many ways that we forget rational thinking.
We may postulate that our actions are independent of influences at times but there is always a train of thought leading someone to where (s)he is now.

People believe that there is a specific reaction to a certain set of events and behave accordingly. But people have always disagreed with that. We are driven not only by self interest but some us have tendency of self sabotage, altruism and what not.

There can never be a cap on human behavior because it is driven by conscience,
The only thing in us that is unadulterated.

We can see the text in front of us, read it ,analyze it and memorize it. After all this we have a mental image of the thought being conveyed. But what we gather from it, is it really what the other person wants to say.

Our understanding might be different , might be wrong and given there is a debate on the topic there will come a point where we either stick to what we know or realize someone else’s
POV. Casting ourselves in the mold of peer pressure/fear or acceptance.

I say keep your conscience clean and unadulterated. But ofcourse that isn’t the ideal way to live is it?

We all seek admiration, acceptance and there is only so much that desire can give us.
But sometimes I accept the higher truth that when i close my eyes i am not who others think i am.
I have to be a manifestation of my inner self.

The very next day i wake up and punch my pillow because that is not what people want me to be. Peace is a state of mind they say.
Come on bring all the casts you want. You will think you have me jumping the hoops But i know who i am.
