I was born and raised in a south Asian country and came to USA few years back. I got one of the highest degree in a professional field. I do not hesitate to say that I am handsome and well build. But I am sorry to say that I am mentally incapable because of my social phobia. I can not share this with anyone and never been to any doctor as I am afraid my family would find out about it and laugh at me. All of my friends consider me as introvert and shy type of guy but they do not know the real secret. My friends wonder why I am doing a job where I can hide myself among hundreds of team member instead of doing what I studied for!! How can I tell them? How can I tell them that I just had a second interview for $75,000 p/a job and the CEO gave me a funny look at the end of the interview. How could I tell them I fumbled, sweated like hell, and lost myself in-front of him scaring he will find out about my social phobia problem. This is my life and this is how I am living.
Going back to my old job tomorrow morning where I can hide myself with hundred others an wouldn’t be point out individually.
This is my life, this is my American Dream
