What do you do when you know someone who looks like they’re completely oblivious to their own character? Here you are, trying to be a good friend and at least listen to what they have to say about how they’re feeling. They talk and they talk, expecting to get advice or your own opinion on what they’re going through. Yet, the moment you start talking, that one moment you seriously start trying to give them advice, it just goes in one ear and out the other. What’s the point if they aren’t listening to anything you have to say. It’s like talking to rubber. It just bounces off of them and they start right from the beginning again. Taking you in circles, telling you the exact same thing they’ve told you before. I started to just mindlessly agree and nod to whatever they say because no matter how much I voice my opinion or advice, the wind is the only one listening. Sheesh.
