I’m the kid who has something to prove
To my parents to show that they didn’t raise a screw up
To those old teachers to show that they didn’t waste their time on a student who didn’t care
To my aunts and uncles to show that im not that same little kid from before
To my Brother and Sister to show i am not dependent on them anymore
To my friends who i am cool with now to show that i’ll always be there
To those who didn’t care about me or always messed with me to show that i always forgive
To my teammates and coaches who didn’t believe i would make it in track
To my grandmother that i truly didn’t know to show her that her children raised an amazing child on their own
And most of all to myself. To show to myself i could make it through anything no matter what. I got so many people to help back me up
Through good times and bad through ups and downs and with everyone and myself i have nothing to lose
So I through the question out there “What do you have to prove?”
