Election Day Logic

Empowering obviously corrupt politicians within a party will only weaken the integrity, and ultimate success, of that party.

If you have no doubt that the politician you want to vote for cannot be trusted, don't give that politician your vote! The effect of such a vote might, in the short term, put your preferred party in power. Inversely, such a vote will directly weaken the party. The increased power he then holds with in the party will taint future party decisions – leaving everyone, including you, less able to identify true political motivations. People will forever after identify the dishonest, corruptible nature of that politician to that party. For good or bad, consider how the mistakes of Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton are now, and forever, associated with their parties. –The Logical American
