Have you ever mentally woken up one day and had a realization that you miss who you once were when things were much simpler. Not necessarily regretting the decisions that have changed you ,but hating the outlook this wold has given you. Nothing ever seems like enough, we always want more time, money, friends, or affections. After every goal there seems to be something more to attain. We are never content creatures. Life just never lets us be blissfully content. Sure, there are moments of joy and contentment but how long do they actually last becauseI promise you they never last forever. And the older I become the more I realize these moments seem to be diminishing between the hustle and bustle of life. We all have different excuses for it all but it changes nothing we are forever a species who needs more and slowly the void seems to grow.
