Let me tell you a little story about what happens when I eat wheat. I get stomach cramps almost as soon as I put wheat products in my mouth. About 5 min after I eat something with wheat I get these horrible little sores (they could be hives…i’m not sure) in my mouth and my tongue (sometimes my whole mouth) goes numb. Most of the time (depending on how much of it I eat) I get a small rash on my upper lip, and for at least a day afterwards all of my muscular and skeletal problems are incredibly inflamed and sore. I also pretty much just fall asleep within an hour of eating it on occasion. In short, I’m allergic in some way, shape or form to wheat.
What did I do before leaving Tim Hortons tonight?
I picked up a ham and swiss sandwich.
It was tasty.
But I don’t think it was quite worth it. x_x
On the bright side, now I’ll be able to sleep without sleeping meds.
