Alright, I’m 14 years old and I’m a sophomore in high school. I live in America although my mother is from Australia. I have the chance to do a year abroad in Australia, which means I’d be going to a great school that offers all the arts that I want, I’d be close to family, I’d meet new people, and the memories would change my life forever. I really want to do it, plunge right in you know? But then I think of the setbacks, I would have to leave my best friends for almost eight months, be friendless and the new kid for the first week, and unfortunately I’d be six months behind in junior year when I came back. I really want to do it, but there are so any steps and processes I have to go through, and it’s expensive. Any ideas on how I could clear my head, earn money, and be confident about change?
