Should I join?

I’m a female and like playing sports. I’m about 5 foot 7 and weigh about 150 pounds. Lately I have been joining my female friends going to the park to play football with the guys. We play two hand touch and have guys and girls on the same team. After we play the guys play kill the carrier while we watch. I have only been watching for about 2 weeks but each time I watch I think to myself that looks like fun. I would like to try it but don’t know if I should. Should I try? I ask my friends if they want to join me but some say no and others say you go first and they will join me the next time. I’m sure the guys would go easy with me the first few times but at the same time tackle football can be rough. I understand that even if they all promise to go easy on me until I’m ready there is always the chance that someone might accidently tackle me hard or I might get hurt. I guess there is also the chance while they take it easy on me they all gently tackle me to the ground (dogpile style) causing all 20 guys to be on top of me. I don’t seem to be that concerned with how much weight could be on top of me (Should I?) I’m sure I could handle the heaviest possible amount. It’s not like they would be on top of me for long, (maybe 10, 15 seconds) I guess I’m more concerned about being tackled hard or landing hard and possibly getting hurt. Thank you for your advice
