Do you ever have those feelings of self doubt? those feelings where you just feel so left out? like you’re the puppet of someones puppeteer. I can’t decribe this in a way that you can understand easily but what i can do is give my experience of what it feels like to be that way.
The kings of leon song “use somebody” is a great way to explain this, you feel like you’ve been used and thrown away, like you’ve been replaced, whether that be by a friend, family member, co-worker etc.
I can’t stop thinking of what i could have done, what i could have done to make them stay, to not make them leave me like all the rest. But all i can do is stop and stare at their retreating back as they fade into the night, watching the mist surround them and place them in the part of my mind meant for forgotten faces.
