I glare at them, my eyes narrowed, and lips curled back in a snarl as I grip the counter in front of myself.

"Well maybe…" I grumble softly, turning away from them for a brief second, trying to compose myself before I speak. "Maybe if you weren't so… so godd**n stupid, they'd like you better."

A small chuckle escapes my lips as I turn back to face them, our eyes locking as I raise a hand and point an accusing finger at them. "Maybe if it weren't for your STUPID OBSESSIONS, THEY'D LIKE YOU BETTER!"

They don't respond. They never respond. Why don't they ever just RESPOND?!

"WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE NORMAL, HUH?! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE A GOOD PERSON?! WHY CAN'T YOU NOT CHEAT IN SCHOOL?! WHY CAN'T YOU EARN ANYTHING?! WHY ARE SO USELESS, HUH!?" I continue to yell, my hands twitching as they curl into fists and I draw back to take a swing at them, and their stupid lips, their stupid eyes, their stupid FACE.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!" I shriek at the top of my lungs, not stopping the flow of words that pour out of my mouth now. "THEY'RE JUST STUPID FLOWERS, YOU'RE JUST STUPID, YOU'RE SO STUPID!"

My fist collides with them, and the mirror wobbles for a second, just a small second, but nothing happens.

Nothing. Happens.

It makes me angrier then if something could have actually happened.

I don't really know what came over me; just this flood of godforsaken rage that I had no chance of stopping, even if I wanted too.

I draw back, and swing at the mirror again.

And again.

And again.

I swing until it the glass cracks, a thousand little shatters running up and through it, obscuring my face, nothing even eligible anymore in the reflection.

I lean back again the nearest wall, panting as the mirror finally tips and falls onto the ground, shattering with a loud crash.

The door opens, and someone peers in.

"Tas?" They ask, voice low as they take in the scene in front of them. "…you okay?"

"Hmm?" I ask, lifting my head with a bright smile, turning and waving at them with the hand I didn't use to punch the mirror. "Oh, yeah! Everything's good! Bumped into the mirror and it fell over, just sleep deprived. I'll clean it up, don't worry!"

They look uncertain, but they nod anyways, slowly. "Oh.. alright. Well… if you're sure…"

"Yup! Positive. I'll see you at the meeting later, ya?"

"Uh, right. Right. See you then, I guess?" They offer weakly, seemingly trying to assure me as they go to close the door.

"Yup! See you then!" I exclaim, waving at them yet again as they shut the door behind them, and vanish.

The second the door is shut, I glare down at the hand I so foolishly used to break the mirror. There's little bits and pieces of glass sticking out it, blood flowing freely down my finger tips. "..well, that's problematic," I mutter to myself, giving my hand a shake and lifting the mirror up off the floor with my good hand.

"Guess I should get this cleaned up, before the meeting…"
