For a long time I’ve been hesitant to add a lot of spam prevention to this site, after all you should be able to write anything. However, the bots are getting more annoying and the site was turning into a junk mail site. Hence I’ve now put recaptcha on a number of places of the site. Logged in users won’t get the prompts, anonmous users will. This will hopefully reduce the spam levels.

I’m not good at remembering passwords can I still post anonymous?

For some reason I wasn’t able to find this site for a few days is there reason to it? Did you ban me? I post some stupid things but not spam.

    thats a Really good idea.
and i wanna mention that you clearly said that if you are not logged in you will get prompted to do a captcha.
for the record , captchas are ment for keeping bots from doing their bot thing.
if you are Not a bot , doing the captcha shouldnt be a problem in the least.
thank you for making that effort. appreciate being able to read and write here.

Get rid of SPAM by spending an hour a week deleting it OR have a moderator (paid or volunteer) remove it. A moderator should be limited to deleting SPAM and not real posts which the moderator doesn’t like. As you say, “you should be able to write anything” so a moderator should not delete posts.

Please get rid of the list of “banned” or censored words. The website prints these words with **** in place of letters. Everyone knows what the word is anyway. You said, “you should be able to write anything”. That means no censorship.

Thank you for having this website!
