Posted by Anonymous on 2020/02/17 under Life Now that the Sequel trilogy is finished, I decided to go ahead and list ideas that could have made the Trilogy work stronger. The main theme to go for is "passing on Excalibur" to the next generation. The Sequel trilogy should start off with the original characters taking center stage and at the end the sequel characters take center stage. TFA: The Galaxy is in a state of a cold war. The New Republic has two thirds of the Galaxy while the rest is owned by the weakened Galactic Empire and the other major powers that have been around. The NRs military has always been lacking however, not enough to protect every system. The Empire after the death of Palpatine went thru multiple civil wars which more or less put them on the same playing field as the NRs assets. Luke Skywalker started his fledgling Jedi Order, flying across the cosmos for potential recruits. With him is his Son his foremost apprentice. Throughout the movie however you can tell something is bothering both which will be revealed later. The First Order made their presence known sometime in the past with the Galactic Empire denying any affiliation with them. The Current GE is now more passive with an Emperor who made a peace treaty with the NR knowing the GE can't really be in a position to fight. The FO still the same as what we see in the ST. TFA film more or less the same just no map to Skywalker, just the FO conquering nearby systems to its territory. Finn leaves after being deployed and forced to kill random hostages with Poe being a NR spy tracking the FOs activities. They both escape and land on Jakku, the Jakku stuff is essentially the same with them meeting Rey. They leave with the Falcon and encounter Han who then leads Rey and Finn to Luke. Luke realizes both have great potential and knows that the FO is becoming more brazen and he and Leia secretly rallying both fleets and potential Jedi for an upcoming war that Luke knows will happen. Finn mentions Kylo Ren which makes Luke visibly upset and his Son stating it isn't something they want to discuss atm. The system where they meet Maz Kanata is under attack with Maz being a Jedi master in this version. Brief skirmish similar to the movie with Finn and Rey receiving some training to show Finn wielding Anakins saber. The First Order finally attacks but not with Starkiller Base. Instead, the Mandator IV dreadnoughts are leading entire fleets attacking with high precision, annihatling entire docked fleets, planetary bases, etc. The NR is being attacked outright while the GE is being held hostage at key points, the FO forcing the GE to buckle down or be outright destroyed. Entire Galaxy erupts into battle with NRs secret fleet and Jedi Forces led by Leia and Luke helping out. NR even has a superweapon known as "The Hammer" a weapon Leia begrudgingly uses but finds a necessary evil. Essentially a make shift Death star that takes out entire fleets and relies in a 0.5 hyperdrive to pop up across the Galaxy. The NR seems to be pushing back the FO and even helps their GE allies. However, "The Hammer" gets destroyed by a single fighter just like Luke took out the death star. The pilot who did it was Kylo Ren, who is now apart or the battle and all that. His Knights of Ren also appear and help in the fight thru various things. The hammer is destroyed over a snowy and forest like planet to basically be reminiscent of Starkiller bases landscape. Events occur that basically more or less is the final events of TFA with Han revealing Kylo is Ben, which isn't released by Snoke earlier in the movie. We also find out Kylo killed Luke's wife, although Luke and his son don't encounter him in the movie. Han dies just like TFA and it ends with Luke and Maz beginning 2 train Rey and Finn and Snoke telling Hux to bring Kylo back to complete his training. Ik I didn't cover certain things, but for the most part my TFA would be like the first movie with major changes. The Last Jedi: Movie begins with Kylo wounded from his fight and meeting Snoke in his Supremacy ship. Snoke is benevolent with Ben albeit in a creepy way, hugging him and basically saying things like "My poor child" maybe stroke his hair a bit. Kylo mentions about Rey and his attempted interrogation, which shows Snoke come to a realization he doesn't outright say. Instead he asks to peer into Kylos mind. Both Kylo and Rey all of a sudden experience Snokes machinations with Luke realizing what is happening and shutting out Snokes influence. Snoke realizes Kylo and Reys newfound connection with Kylo asking what exactly happened. Snoke states all will be revealed when the time comes and begins to train Kylo. Rey asks what that presence was to Luke who reveals the existence of Supreme Leader Snoke. He states he met Snoke over a decade ago who acted as a friend to the Jedi and helped start his Order. However, Snoke eas secretly converting Kylo and a group of Jedi in Luke's order for his own purposes. He admits he doesn't fully know what Snokes plans are, just that Kylo attacked a Jedi enclave for no real reason when he was off in some other system. Snokes origins aren't fully known to Luke, who claims Snoke told him he was a Jedi. Some time passes, it's revealed that a large percentage of the GE has joined the First Order. The NR are readying to make their counterattack with Finn and Rey being more or less Jedi Knights. The NR begin to attack FO territory, with Rey Finn and Poe helping out in key battles. The First Order however reveal the presence of the Supremacy which is arned with multiple scaled down superlaser that can be fired thru hyper space. It essentially becomes a Juggernaut as the FO push back the NR forces and forces them to retreat. A battle occurs where Luke is involved with Rey Finn Lukes son and Poe. During the battle Luke and Rey are captured by the FO and both are brought forth to Snoke and Kylo. Kylo obviously hates Luke and believes Snoke will execute him but is surprised by what Snome actually wants. Snoke reveals his origins in which he is a Whill. Tens of millions of years b4 the Clone wars occurred, there was an advanced alien race that went by many names. Celestials, Architects, Hyperspace aliens. Their true names are the Whills. They are an extra galactic race who are the first race to discover the Force and use it in their technology. Once they arrived in the SW galaxy they engineered entire star systems and brought certain races hyperdrive technology and created certain species Eventually the Whills reached the Pinnacle of technology and Force usage. Their final project was to become one with the Force, the majority of the species taking part in this and becoming the Family of Mortis who guided the balance of the Force. The Father who is Balance, Son who is the dark side, Daughter who is the Light, and the Mother who brings balance to the Force if needed, essentially making her the Chosen One. Not all Whills underwent this process for their own reasons, one of which was because of Ulterior motives that being was Snoke. He volunteered to be a caretaker for the Family and specifically targeted the Mother. In time he made a Force Dyad with her and began to absorb her in his essence. He was successful and proceeded to try this on the other 3 members which would have led to him being essentially a God. However, the Mothers remaining identity revealed his ruse and the Family all but destroyed him and casted out his essence on a remote planet in the unknown regions. However, one cannot kill a Whill especially not one fused with a One. Snoke slowly but surely recovered his strength until eventually he regained a somewhat corpeal form. Once he reached a safe level of power he became a God king to the native species of Insectoids on said planet who server as his eyes and ears for the past 200 years in Galactic affairs. He discovered that the Family of Mortis died decades ago and knew the Force itself tried to rectify this by creating new Champions in the Force. Originally these Champions were Palpatine, Anakin, and Luke Skywalker. He noticed that a replacement for the Father has yet to arrive and believed it because he was destined to become the Father while the other 3 were meant to become his new family. This is why he does not want to destroy Luke but rather bring him to his side, which would have happened decades ago according to Snoke if Kylo did not attack so early. But it didn't matter since he was confident all would lead to the current t events. As for the deaths of Palpatine and Anakin that also didn't matter. Kylo was the perfect replacement for the Chosen One role, with many tests all revolving around Kylos alignment until he was "balanced" As for Rey, it is revealed that she is Palpatines grand daughter and would be the perfect replacement to become the Dark Side. Luke would replace the Daughter as the Light, and Snoke himself as the Father. I'll end it at here.
After the battle Luke asks Finn and Rey to train Maz. During the training Finn is a natural while Rey is very powerful but had a hard time controlling her strength which leads her prone to violence and hints at her heritage for later films.
