Posted by Anonymous on 2019/08/21 under Life I am a freshman at an in state school and I moved halfway across the country to be here. You may be wondering "why the hell would she do that?" and I would agree with you. I chose this school because I was born here and my grandparents and cousins live here. I love them very much and I probably wouldn't be able to survive here if it weren't for them. I do, however, miss my family and I cry every day and every night when I try to shut off my brain and go to sleep. I miss having people to reassure me and be there when I need support. I miss my best friends and feeling comfortable in my surroundings. And finally, I miss my beautiful home with its many mountains and hills, and its long rivers and hundreds of waterfalls and hiking trials. It seems as though everyone here already has their group and are unwilling to let a strangler in. I hope things get better soon.
