I'm not too old but being 21 can have its advantages and disadvantages. One thing that I do love is that I'm still young enough to do stupid things! On the other hand… Being responsible for doing those stupid things can come crawl back to you. Life comes with several consequences! How amazing is that!? "Life would be so much easier if you just did what your supposed to!" These reoccurring words are said to me quite often. The things I would love to do is live life to do pretty much nothing. It should amaze people that I would not like to work, I would rather go out and travel. The reason why I cannot travel is the amount of money that is never there in my wallet. Being a stupid young adult is what happens. I happen to be running from my responsibilities because, I don't want them! Who wants to grow up and get a job that you might not like? I work in a real estate office and yes… I'm not quite fond of it. It is not hard… Just boring! What exactly do I want to do for my future? Who knows? It makes me laugh when I think about it. Why bother doing adult things when you can live a life of laughter and joy by doing the things you love? Just go do the things you want to do! "But what about my responsibilities here? I have a family here, I can't leave them now! I don't have the funds or transportation to get there! This isn't the right time now. I can't just up and leave the life here that I'm already in! Why should I change my life here when it's secure as it is?" So many questions can go through our minds and change our opinions. We leave the thoughts of doing something we love because we are scared. Maybe it won't turn out to be something that will make us happy? Too many things can happen when a person does try to do something with their lives. Change can be a very scary thing but it can also be a very exciting thing. Being an adult has many advantages and disadvantages. Too many responsibilities is such a hassle! I hate it! I can have a few and be good but as you get older… They grow, bigger, Bigger, and BIGGER! I am a female. As I was younger, I would think that getting married would solve all my problems. Marry a man and he should take care of everything for you and relax but take care of the kids too! Some dream! Being a gullible child is sweet but now… Acting as a child at the age of 21 is shunned. Can I please play at the play and do things like a child without being looked with dirty looks? I like to color yes. I like to play with a ball, yes. Yes being a child can be fun and being an adult is fun too. At times… Going to concerts, traveling with friends, doing things that parents aren't needed for. College… I don't like school. Never did but in this day and age, you need a degree of some kind of get a good job. Doing things to be apart of society is hard! Going with the flow can be easy but doing adult things that require so much responsibilities is hard! Getting married would probably solve a lot of problems. Haha! If only… But of course, being a part of an adult is having responsibilities, work, and a whole lot of life choices! Running away can only go so much… I hate being an adult and yet… I kind of like it! I wish there was a fairy godmother of a genie to make all these things go away! Marrying a rich person would be easy too… Life isn't all hot like Hot Cheetos (limon)! Given the time that I still have to grow, doing the things that I truly want to do is still far. One day I will get there and hopefully, there will be no regrets. Being a young adult, I still have a way to go! 21 years old and still going strong! FIGHTING!
