I’m an eighteen year old engineering first year student studying for a super hard exam that is going to take place tomorrow. Like many other students currently taking this class, I was stressing out about whether I would do well or not, but then a question popped into my head: does it really matter?

I’m eighteen years old, and by default I am young, confused and unsure about life. So really, what does it matter if I do bad?
I’m not saying I’m not going to study for it, trust me when I say I am going to be studying for the next six hours, but there is more to life. If you don’t like what you want to do, change it, that’s all that needs to be say. I am young, and if god allows it, I have many more years ahead of me so I can explore as long as I need to until I find that one thing I love.

So if you were stressing out about exams as much as I was, you just need to realize that it doesn’t matter as much as you think it does.

Thank you so much. I get so stressed out about tests and exams and I always do terrible because I worry so much. Your advice really helps me. Good luck with your exam. You will do well in engineering if that is what you wish to do .X
