This might sound a little off, but just hear me out.
I’m in a few social networking sites, and I read so many posts of people in emotional turmoil because they can’t achieve their idea of “happiness.” I feel so bad for these people, and sometimes I wish I could reach out and give some advice, but I’m just not known to be one of those guys. It’s funny how much another person’s opinion of you influences your actions, but I digress.
Some advice I would offer to these people, in case you are reading, is to abandon happiness. Now before you just disregard what I say and dismiss me as some pessimist, I don’t mean to be miserable and wallow in your own frustrations, but to rather accept that being completely happy is impossible, and probably something that you don’t want to be. Accept strife in your life, as it is part of the balance that is so apparent in all aspects in life, especially in our physical world. Just take Newton’s Third Law of a body in motion: with every force, there is an opposite force with the same magnitude. No one object or action in our world is left without an opposite to balance it out, even down to the smallest particles that our minds cannot even conceive.
Anyway, this is just my opinion, I just wanted to put it out there. If you’re a person going through a difficult time, just remember that your turmoil is necessary for the balance your own life, and some good times are coming to bring equilibrium to you.
