After I had looked at the requirements for the EVP field works multiple times before and got everything prepared (even a little over prepared compared to most people in my section), I only saw at the last minute that we'll need our Seneca OneCard on a lanyard. Sadly, I didn't have that. So, despite planning to go to the field Work, I had to skip it (or so I thought at that time) expecting that I'll be denied participation in that class since a requirement was missing.
I'll later go on to miss the second day too because the card took longer than usual to be delivered to me after I ordered it.
Luckily, those 2 didn't carry any field sheet marks. Unfortunately, they carried a little Health & Safety preparedness mark which is part of the course grade. So, I missed like 4 points.
After finally getting to the 3rd or 4th field work (I think I missed one for lateness), I realised to my disappointment that the card wasn't even necessary. Crap!
The fieldbook wasn't necessary either. In fact, I was the only one taking field notes outside of the field sheets.
Hate it when people put instructions that are unnecessary and make it look compulsory.
