Posted by Anonymous on 2020/11/03 under Life so my girlfriend reminded me of something i would have rather forgotten I had broken up with this lad and he said I'm I hope we can still be friends I said of course and then I spoke to my girlfriend (not at the time) and said he shattered me and I would never love or trust anyone again then proceeded to say is that true did he shatter you and you not love or trust anybody I said yes then she had a cow at me and said so then if you loved and trusted no one after that why are we going out I said because I love and trusted you and she said well you said you'd never love or trust anyone again.I ignored her and tried to change the subject just as I tried she said oi don't try and change the subject and she said so if you loved no one why are we going out! I said the same thing I said the first time yet still didn't believe me so I managed to change the subject but she said tomorrow I want an answer for that question and I said whatever and she said good and I have not texted her back. is that too mean or did she deserve it?
That’s straight up pointless. Something is clearly bothering her and you think it’s dumb or you can’t quite grasp why she got annoyed. Instead of trying to act all superior and ignorant, ask her to explain to you what it was that annoyed or even hurt her feelings and hear her out. By the sounds of it, she’s worried she might be wasting her time on a person that’s just not serious about this relationship. She wants that security of knowing that you’re all in, 100% crazy about her. Girls need this sort of affirmation.
