Ten years of tears cried alone.
Ten years of arguments he never once said sorry for.
Ten years of “But I do love you”s and “I promise I’ll pay more attention”s
Ten years of being told I’m “too much”
Ten years of trying to be enough.
Ten years of begging for affection.
Ten years of feeling like I’m not allowed to say no.
Ten years of feeling like I’m being completely ignored.
Ten years of trying so f***ing hard to be what he wanted me to be………….
