Love Work Family Friends Games Kids Life

I wake up to a screaming baby pushed in my face. “HERE SHES CRYING”, and he goes back to play his game. I barely fell asleep two hours before but I don’t bother speaking. He won’t care anyway. My oldest comes up to me saying he’s hungry. I’m busy feeding the baby so I ask “Babe can you get X something to eat?”… “Sure.” Okay. Twenty minutes pass and I put down the baby and go see what’s happening. X is still whining starting to cry saying he’s hungry. HE hasn’t even looked at him. The headset covering his ears blocks out the sound. I don’t bother speaking. He won’t hear me anyway. I make food for the kids but ignore my own stomach. I haven’t eaten in two days but I don’t even feel hungry. So why eat? I spend the rest of the day either cleaning or watching cartoons with the kids. He doesn’t move from his chair. The headset never comes off. I go to the room while the kids play. I cry…and cry…and cry….and then he comes in the room…he sees my tears…..and then he grabs the charger and goes back to his game…so I just sit there knowing I’m worthless and pointless….so I don’t bother speaking

You matter and you are not worthless. Relationships can be difficult. And it doesn’t help that men can at times be selfish and immature.
Have you tried talking with him?
You could just leave him, but I think that if he was meeting your needs you could make it work.
I know that at least every so often my husband needs to be reminded of what I need in my relationship. I think about what I want to get across and make time to talk to him when the kids are asleep. I try not to do it in a confrontational way. You should try and see how it goes.
You have to take care of yourself in order to take care of those babies.
I wish you all the best.

You are way more polite than I would be. If it was me I would put a pile of food in his lap and tell him feed the kids, get his act together and start acting like a parent. Whilst I know it’s very confrontational He is simply using you. He needs to know your not going to keep putting up with it.

The above will probably create quite a reaction but he needs to know your worth something and he needs to treat you with the respect you deserve.
