Love Work Family Friends Games Kids Life

People make mistakes some get caught for drugs rape crimes against kids ect while others don't. I am a female and a felon a 3x screw up at that 2 for drugs and theft. I did my time and been keeping my nose clean. Why idk since i cant get a decent job or any job even at fast food places. But I know a dude that has a stat rape charge and he gotta gud job. Funny how this country more scared of drugs then ppl that mess with minors. Both cases have been goin on since the Bible days. Idk but I'd rather the drug dealer or even the dope cook watch my kids if I had any rather than any1 that would try to take advantage of them. But maybe I don't see it cuz I'm not a parent. The president just pardoned a few big shots for stealing $ or whatever but can't make it so a felon actually trying to do right can. And they wonder y ppl go back to crime. We go back cuz it pays til u get caught but ya know it was worth it cuz it helped pay the bills.

I don’t mean to be rude, just blunt. I think that you need to change the way you think a little. When people cause crime they might be just trying to survive, but the community is going to be affected in more than one way. Incarceration costs an average of more than $31,000 per inmate, per year, nationwide. In some states, it’s as much as $60,000. Taxpayers foot the bill for feeding, housing and securing people in state and federal penitentiaries.
In the end aren’t we all just trying to survive? There isn’t a person that goes unaffected by criminal acts.

    Examples
People that live in fear from the news and media due to crime.
The mental, physical, financial effects that crimes create on victims, families and communities.
The criminal themselves are also affected. Their families and lifes change. Just look how you messed up a few times and now are living out your life in judgment because of those decisions.

I know that you are just feeling discouraged because you cannot get a job, keep your head up. There should be programs that help you integrate into society. There should be ways to reach out for somebody to help you find a job or get some kind of training.
I can’t even land a job. All we can do is keep trying.
