Well with all things considered, that does not sound horrible, and I doubt all your social peer pressure / public shaming (awareness) is going to change his mind.

*Is this autistic kid your child or does it belong to the In-Law Extra Rich Grandfather?
*Is it no longer up to the parent to sustain and secure their own child’s future, even if its a retard?
*It’s Certainly not an In-Law or any Grandparent responsibility, and it does not make one damn bit difference if he is Donald Trump rich or not!
*If the In-Law Grandfather were poor, would you pay his medical expenses, funeral and other expenses after he has died. All the medical expenses, and money owed?
The in-law worked all their lives to earn the wealth of money they have, now you want to pretend they are obligated to hand money out to you, someone outside the family, in all your (most likely) bad choices!
This is a growing problem with all SNOWFLAKES Generation (X, y, Z, Millennial, etc). You think you are self entitled to everything and its up to prior generations to (financially) bail you out, fund you when you make bad financial decisions and other stupid choices. If the kid has a naturally born defect (mentally or physically) to the point that keeps them from carrying out a normal life… That child is in fact a retard or retarded, not injured due to an accident or car wreck.
Alas and Logically speaking: If it were an animal in the wild, nature would take care if it (abort it) within the first few months of life…naturally.

As cold as it might sound… in today modern world and of medical technology; you probably found out early on that the child would be born and have autism, but elected to bring that kid into the world anyway.
What? you though the child would be the next generation of Stephen Hawkins, resembe the brain washing fantastical TV show “The Good Doctor”, drive itself to school, go to work, go shopping, order from McDonalds kids menu, walk down a street, cross a road, when grown have a normal sexual and meaningful relationship, wipe and bathe its own body, cook and eat, etc all on its own?
NO! From you cash cow wanting and whining, it sounds like this kid is going to need a LIFE TIME of Constant SPECIAL CARE and ATTENTION..unless some whack job scientist comes up with a lobotomy cure for such. Special care beyond even your own life, that of your children, and the OLD TYRANT RICH MAN.
Do you understand your choice yet? Or did you base it on some moral or godly values! Did you consider all?
The unacceptable and social dictation objection to the fact is, you should have aborted as moralistically wrong, cold and inhumane as it sounds. You did not just make a decision for yourself, but for all your family, any other “normal” children you might have, the in-laws and other family that you never even considered, and even society itself. Any and everyone that will ever come into contact with the autisim.
The financial burdens associated with raising a retard for life is of your choice. But it takes away from (not just you) your other children as well. Everything from that new pair of socks to college gets deducted from the high cost of maintaining an autistic child.
You changed your normal child’s lives and reshaped their future as well.
After you die, or if you are injured… it will be up to your own children to sacrifice their lives and future to maintain a retarded sibling. But before that, they are in school and they will forgo a proportion of events at the normal level due to less financial stability, basket ball, football, cheer leading, band, dates, proms, decent cars, clothes, food, housing, etc… may even find it hard to keep friends due to how kids act and treat others outside the norm.
Yes! The normal kids might love the retarded child too, but I doubt you even considered or asked them in the choice, nor considered such repercussions it could have! But how has it (or will it) affect/effect and shaped their lives and future lives; intellectually, socially, all the extra accommodations and exceptions, limitations, even if its just the local trip to the store? How will/would their lives have tuned out better or worse had the retarded child never been allowed to birth? And no you wouldn’t have to say MOMMY AND DADDY CHOSE TO KILL YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER BECAUSE IT WAS RETARDED… but more so, We chose to let God take care of his/her life long special needs as their life will be better, fulfilled and happier in the kingdom of heaven.
But how would all your lives turned out had you chose to abort? Financially and socially in the norm of daily lives, not just yours, any normal children?
I truly think there should be a world order law, that retarded kids should be aborted, if the parent or parents cannot meet the financial or special needs of the aforesaid child before birth. Excluding insurance, special assistance, donations, charity, etc.
I am sure there is a butt load of diarrhea that others social snowflakes will spew out as comments to my post, I don’t care and am not influenced by snowflake social dictation, social pressure nor social acceptance, government dictation or other. The In-Law Tyrant of a Rich Azz Cash Cow Grandfather is not obligated to fork over his liefs work and retirement (by default of self entitlement) based on your poor choice and lack of insight and considerations for the long term. Even after he is dead and the money is rotting in the ground somewhere, to be wasted as it withers, it is not yours to claim or complain how it is spent or who gets his inheritance.
