Posted by Anonymous on 2019/05/04 under Life I am still sad about mom. Mom cried today. She is so sad about being so lonely at home. If moving to India will cure her loneliness and boredom then I would want that to happen right away. I feel horrible seeing her that way. We are miles away in foreign country, we don't have friends or relatives here. We feel so lonely at home. My mom searched for various jobs but she still hasn't gotten any. My dad is worried too but since we are financially unstable now, we can't really do anything. My sister says she doesn't wanna move to India because if we live here we get labelled as 'NRI' which she thoroughly enjoys. But what about my mom? No friends or relatives, we don't even have a T.V at home. Years ago when we used to live in India my mom used to be so confident, strong, enthusiastic and happy but here she is just hopeless all the time. I can't see her this way. Something has to be done. I just hope that things go well.
