This World is blinded by things unseen
And covered by lies and clever deceit
Webs spun so well, most will become prey
With sayings like ‘Don’t worry, tomorrow is another day!’
Whatever feels good or makes you happy- one should do
And if you lose your soul along the way- no worries they have too
The blind leads the blind into a pit – so they all will fall
He was knocking but did anyone answer the call?
Man did not create man, though they act like their own god
Saying ‘Its evolution, no meaning to life at all’ which is quite odd
The only planet thus far to have intelligent life to this extent
But man believes they know what was/is meant
We are here to please ourselves…if you’re rich you won
Pride, lies, pleasure, lust, envy, hate, killings, drunkenness- then it’s done
No…see to believe in a purpose and divine plan, may just cause them to stop and think
(Hmmm….maybe it does matter)
What the world pours out is a dangerous drink
This world is blinded by things unseen
And covered by lies and clever deceit
They didn’t want to believe, so now they reject, laugh at, and despise the word sin
While engaging in it with a devilish grin
And the world says ‘well what you don’t know can’t hurt you’
God says wake up because it does indeed matter what you say and do
We live in a fallen world and the devil is real
He can affect your thoughts and how you feel
It’s a battle for your soul and our mind as well
So much controversy over the place called Hell
But sin in his kingdom- he cannot allow
A way has been made to keep you from this
Yet to deny this with complete lack of faith, is quite remiss
Jesus was sent for this purpose-for those who believe
However to keep up traditions and lifestyles…some deceive
Saying if there is a God, he will surely forgive all
He doesn’t care if you followed the devil instead of answering his call
Jesus’ death and sacrifice was horrific, but no big deal
It’s ok to lie, cheat, kill, and steal
Why stop what makes you “happy”, even if he did have to die
And they keep in believing lie after lie after lie
This World is blinded by things unseen
And covered by lies and clever deceit
There is a way that is sure and true
That explains all he does and did for you
And there is a relationship-a personal relationship waiting
To help you start to love and forgive and stop all the hating
Do you want to keep being a slave to sin?
Regardless, in the end we know who will win
God has won this battle and the devils knows
But the devil has blinded MANY and it shows
We all need to choose- what side will you play on?
Take the opportunity before it’s gone
The devil knows where he is headed and wants you to come with
Believing ‘well I’m a good person’ is another myth
The most terrifying reality whatsoever
Make a choice today, it can change your fate
Do it before it’s too late
And covered in lies and deceit
