I used to be so sterile. I thought I had to be so careful and choose so very carefully. While this is true, it's nice to discern and be cautious, let me tell you how my lessons waited for me. It was just delivered in a better package than what I would have if I were to go ahead and live wild and make mistakes and all that. And it's cost was heavier too. My advice for the youth is to allow yourself to make mistakes, and don't hold back, even the most sterile thoughts you think you may have about something is coming from a place of judgement. If you can avoid it, if you can choose something or know something and be something and hit it right the first time, good for you, but don't judge others for what heavens have in store for them. I learned this way… through my failed marriage. We met and we were like car fax, asking each other how many people we slept with, how were we growing up, and it was usually a point directed at exactly how great we would be for each other. And in the end, none of it mattered.
We still had fights, things went down, a lotta stuff happened to me after words when I was going through changes. Life teaches you. Your lessons wait for you to make that move. No matter how "sterile" you think you are, they wait for your move.
