OK So my best friend tried out for a play at my school and she got the part she wanted. But me and my guyfriend came to watch them practice and her acting sucks shes always tripping,messing up the lines, or knocking stuff over. I was going to tell her she sucks and save her from embarassment, but then my guyfriend told me that i might hurt her feelings so idk what to do if i tell her she’ll hate me if i don’t she’ll hate me.
Well, how about you just help her get better. Don’t tell her she is a bad actor, that will just make things worse. Instead, ask her if she wants help with her lines, or her stage blocking. Reassure her and tell her that she is doing a wonderful job. If you just keep motivating her, she will be more interested in doing a good job. Good Luck .xx
