It makes me incredibly sad to think about, but I am no longer sure if I love my girlfriend anymore. We’ve been dating almost a year and a half, and I really care about her. However, we’re constantly stressed and it seems like all she ever is is upset at something or upset with me. It has gotten to the point where I’m relieved when she’s not around, because then I feel like I can be myself and not have to constantly worry if I’ve upset her or not. But I’d feel awful if I broke up with her, especially because she has a lot of family issues and is worried about college amongst many other things going on. I’m not sure what to do, but something needs to change, because I can’t stand going through each day in constant turmoil anymore.
Just let her know how you feel. You know what she is going through and you can remind her that you are there for her. But you feel as if you are falling out of love for her because you don’t feel like you can be yourself around her. Just let her know that you’d feel bad if y’all ever broke up just because of how her life is set up at the moment but there needs to be some changes.. and if that blows up in your face? Well, her anger isn’t something you should have to put up with.
