The way you respond to others, the way you look at others, the way you act towards others…it has impact. Of course, it varies on whether the receiver pays attention or not. And what if they DO pay attention? When a parent is fully aware of their child’s mental issues or emotional issues (which can be caused by the parent themselves)and doesn’t show the child empathy or security of some sort, is this not a form of neglect? When one has knowledge of something, but tries to avoid the knowledge by not tending the problem, it is neglect. There always seems to be little hope in the eye of neglect. Especially in the eye of a child. And everyone is a child. We all have a parent we are the offspring of, unless one was produced and birthed in a scientific lab. That would make a very, very interesting news article.
