I have a tuberculosis. I am about to pass my medical requirements. Yes. I can still go to work because as not all people know, if you are treating for 2 weeks with the prescribe medicine, you are not infectious anymore. In my case the hospital gave me a clearance even if i had only been treating for 5 days because im category 2. I still hide this fact from the people i know because even if i say im not infectious anymore and i undergo directly observed treatment people will still feel that im infectious. This day i said it to my bestfriend because shes the one who will be handling the papers so stupidly i thought she might know so i told her the truth. We are both on a medical field so i thought she will understand. She did understand but the feeling that she’s not that talkative to me anymore and having a little distance away from me i felt really ill even though my afb results were already negative. I understand her but i just feel so dirty when someone do that. People dont know that more than 90% of people have tb bacilli in their body its just not infectious or dangerous because it is not reactive but if your immune system weakens or you are immunocompromise then you will be easily infected with tb. I just regretted that i told my bestfriend about this.

as what john gardner said, “Life is the art of drawing without an eraser.” I really regretted telling her but i have to get used to her and just understand her.

Everything really happens for a reason. Because of my disease, i am thinking of getting a job which involves stuffs like this.

I now also understood the feeling of people who have diseases like this

hope my estfriend will accidentally see this too..or not..lol
